Mammut Flextron technology

Mammut is launching the innovative Flextron technology in the new Ducan shoe models. A spring steel midsole is flexible in length and supports the rolling behavior of the foot. Across the width, the Flextron sole is rigid and prevents pressing against the arch of the foot on uneven terrain. The result: an anatomically correct foot position, surefooted comfort and improved resistance to fatigue, even on longer walks. The overall improvement in posture has been shown to result in fewer compensating movements and thus more efficient use of energy during hiking and mountaineering.
